| Customer Reviews:
great intro set January 6, 2009 tool guy (Wisconsin) My son is 11 and has been having a great time with the kit. The kit starts them out with very simple projects, and progressively gets more detailed. The project manual has each individual project in its own text box, along with all the visuals that show how to assemble. Its possible to just follow the picture diagrams and make them work but I think its important to read the objective/explaination with each project so you really underdstand. Excellent learning tool and kids have a great time. He worked on it for hours at a time.
BEST toy to learn about Circuits January 6, 2009 Momma Kirstin (Northern California) We just gave this to our 5 1/2 year old. He immediately stopped opening all his other Christmas presents and began to play with this for two hours straight. He's played with it everyday since for a week. This toy provides two large booklets full of experiments that teach things like how to make a Police Siren, how to light up bulbs and how to set a flying object in motion with enough electricity. It is safe and very smart. All of our other science kits created mess on the floor ~ I would usually find loose wires, old batteries, magnets and broken bulbs. This handy tray creates a work space for everything to stay in one place. And with that, it's a better teaching tool because it provides reduced chaos to the learner. We've even taken it on a road trip already, it's so portable. I can't recommend this product enough, and it is well worth the money. We can throw all the other (5) kits out and he'd be just fine with this one kit for the rest of his learning. Excellent and easy to read instructions, as well. Whomever designed and created this certainly knew what they were doing. From experience and exposure to other lesser products on the market, this is the kit to buy.
Snap Cicuits Hit January 6, 2009 J. Metter (Beloit, WI) My nephew really was excited by this toy. He made two projects by the next morning after receiving it. He would have started on them right away if he had been given the opportunity.
Great toy! January 6, 2009 Valorie West (Sand Springs, OK) I bought 2 of these based on the positive reviews for Christmas, one as a gift and the other for my 12 year old son. He has had a lot of fun putting the projects together. They are great and he can do them by himself. They also work and seem very durable. This is an excellent product and well worth the money.
Great toy January 6, 2009 Marnee L. Thompson (Austin ,Texas) This was on my daughters Santa list and her Grandpa had one at his house. She is ten and loves making things . She has a few of the projects memorized and can do them quickly. She needs help in doing some of the harder ones but really enjoys it . very easy to follow and made to last . Great for 8 and up or younger if they can keep up with the parts . The smaller project one is just enough stuff for my child to do.
