| Customer Reviews:
constantly played with January 6, 2009 Thomas Degroat (Hamilton Sq, New Jersey United States) this product was bought in combination with the space rover and both have been played with contstantly since christmas. Overall all the mega rig toys have been a hit.
Not bad overall January 5, 2009 Scott A. Moore (Greenville, SC) I bought this for my son for Christmas -- he was 3 at the time, turning 4 a couple weeks later. It's really probably better for a little bit older child, but he still has had a lot of fun with it. My only complaints are that some parts are harder to attach/detach than others, leading him (and me!) to wonder if they aren't supposed to detach or if they're just difficult. That, and the directions only show you how to make one rig. The box shows other pictures, but some are not quite so cut and dry. I can figure it out for him, but he may have some difficulty by himself. The main thing I can say is to **check the prices carefully** before purchasing from Amazon. At the time I write this the list price is $49.95 on Amazon.com. Here in SC, Target & Toys R Us had it for $39.95, and I bought it at WalMart for $21.95. I may look for a little DVD on the space shuttle to let him have a better idea of what it does etc, to give him a jump on the imagination process. So many toys come with free, short DVDs these days that I'm almost surprised when one doesn't! All in all, though, a good toy, but probably best for 5 or 6 and up.
One Happy 5 year old December 29, 2008 K. Fuller (Alabaster, AL United States) My 5 year old loves building things. The space shuttle is so versatile he will play with it for hours. He also interchanges some of it's parts with other Megarig sets making all kinds of cool vehicles.
Will keep them busy December 18, 2008 Courtney A. Bing Bought this for my 5 year old and he absolutely loves it. He rearranges the ships and creates new things. It has kept him busy for hours on end. Good choice for my family
Great Gift December 14, 2008 D. Duffy (anywhere) Purchased for a gift. This is a lot of fun & made well. Would recommend.
