Good pocket trick February 25, 2008 David J. Murdock (H. V., TX, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A good little trick that doesnt make any sense to the viewer if done right. They think they know how you did it until you hand them the dice and then it makes no sense how you did it. You think they would see how you did it but they never do. A good Cheap trick.
Las Vegas Dice - Great Pocket Routine November 4, 2007 Don Mago (Sarasota, Florida USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I first got Las Vegas Dice I had difficulty understanding the instructions. So, I sat down and toughed it out, in the end finding the routine to be quite easy to do. I actually re-wrote the instructions to make it all clearer. I am an amateur magician and enjoy close-up magic. This is a perfect close-up routine you can carry ready-to-go in your pockets. Essentially you show two "dice," one with 3 spots on one side, 4 on the other. The other die has 2 spots on one side and 5 on the other. You very openly make the dice appear to switch hands and back again. In the end you hand the dice out for examination. There are only very minor slights of hand, if you can call them that, that anyone can easily master in only a few minutes. These are very, very simple moves. Of course, magician's say, "The magic is not in the trick, the trick is in the magic." So, you must practice. I would say to make this really magic, at least 30 minutes. Figuring out the below-average written instructions is most of the difficulty but can be mastered if you go slowly, one step at a time, with the dice in hand. The result is worth the effort. Finally, I would say this is great for pre-teens through adult. Eight to ten-year-olds could do it but with help of an adult.
