i bought this for an adult friend who had lost his original "magic thumb". I thought all thumbs would be similar....but they are not. While the size of the piece is very good for an adult, the quality in color is lacking - in overall hue and nail definition (the nail tip is the same color as the finger). In addition to problems with the color, the piece isn't maleable or crushable, so it makes it more difficult to conceal-meaning, the trick will suffer. While the plastic is quite durable, it isn't suitable for this piece....something a little thinner with more flexiblity is crucial. This may be a good tool for a beginner...not for actual use to those people serious about the trick.
