Imagine being able to borrow any coin and visually vanish it in an instant. Wearing no sleeves, jacket, rings, or wristbands this vanish is pure art of sleight of the hand, which will leave your audience speechless. This impromptu coin vanish is called Revolution.
The DVD is a hands-on thirty minute training video taught by the great Brad Christian. He covers the effect completely, leaving nothing out. There are different effects, all based on one sleight, that will be covered. When you find out how this is done you will be "kicking yourself." This basic effect will take you just minutes to learn. The video is broken down into eleven chapters. The DVD quality is outstanding, and everything is easy to understand. In chapter one you will receive a forum password to join a protected forum on the Ellusionist site.
Effects: There are three basic effects taught on the video. First, is the Dissolve. You borrow any coin, and show your hands to be totally empty. You now turn your hands over and place the coin on the back of any hand. (You can even let the spectator place the coin on the back of your hand, never even touching it). Next the hand that doesn't have the coin begins to just rub the coin until it is simply gone. From this point the performer can show both hands empty, with a totally clean ending. Second, is the melt. You can borrow a quarter, or use your own. From here you place the quarter on the back of a closed fist. With your fist tight you rub the coin and it seems to disappear again. This time you hold your arm out, and open your hand for the first time and inside is the quarter. You could even have your hand tapped shut before placing the coin on top. This coin just melted through your hand. This is a great opener or finisher, wherever you decide you need it. Third, is the Transformation. You borrow a coin, let's say a quarter, and place it on the back of your hand. You bring your other hand up and begin to rub. In an instant the quarter is visually transformed from a quarter to a die, or any other small object you would like. You could make it change into a penny if it pleases you. The ending is clean and there is virtually no set-up.
Impromptu: This effect is as impromptu as it gets. There are no gimmicks involved, and you could literally do this without a shirt on. This means no magnets, strings, wires, or anything else you could possibly think of. There is no really suspicious movements, and the angles are great. You can have a person standing from a wide variety of places and never get caught. This is something that you will want to perform everyday.
Performances: I have been performing this effect for about one year now. I can honestly say that I use this most because of it is one of the most hard hitting vanishes ever created. Once, I was in wood-shop and a group of kids asked me to do something cool. Now I did not have any cards with me or anything. So I asked to borrow a quarter from one of the skeptical kids. He gave me one and I performed version one, the dissolve. The kids jumped when I showed my hands empty and two of them ran out of the room. For the rest of the class all I heard was "How the @#$% did you do that". I broke the boundaries on what is possible and what isn't for these people and so can you.
Conclusion: For seventeen dollars this is a must buy. It is such a mind-blowing trick that you will even fool other magicians. It is just so ingenious. On a scale of one to ten on simplicity, one being the easiest and ten being the hardest, I give this effect a two. It does take some practice to perfect. You would have to be crazy not to buy this. Go ahead, follow along. An American Half Dollar. Shiny as can be, glistening on the back of your hand. Pick the coin up and hold it at eye level. Go ahead and break it into two seperate pieces. Now let it go, let it disappear. Vanished into thin air, gone to never come back again. Welcome to the unreal, welcome to Revolution.
The effect is beautiful. You borrow a coin, any coin, flip it in the air a few times, roll your sleeves up and vanish the coin. No Sleeves needed, No palms at all, No misdirection neccessary. Everything is completely fair.
The DVD quality is more than perfect. Quality is exceptionally good and the cover art is beautiful. The teaching is unbelievable. Mr. Christian goes over everything there is to know about this effect. The sleights, what to do, how to do it, when to do it. Everything is covered very well.
The DVD teaches different variations of the trick including:
Turning the Quarter into a die (dice).
Visually pushing it through your hand into your fist.
Vanishing the quarter completely.
How to do it while sitting at a table.
I have used every one of the above in performances before and all recieve awesome reactions. You could not get a better bang for your buck. It truly is a "Revolution" when it comes to vanishing coins.

Imagine being able to pick up a coin off of your hand, and literally, VISUALLY make it disintegrate between your fingers, that would be magic, that is Revolution.
I purchased Revolution a while ago and I still use it today. The vanish is simple, so simple that anyone can do it. Revolution is completely impromptu, to the point that it's histerical. You can literally walk up to a spectator, borrow ANY coin, it doesn't matter which one, and make it vanished. No gimmicks, no set up, on the spot magic. It is impromptu to the MAX. For those of you who do not know what impromptu means, impromptu is the ability to do magic without any set up, any gimmicks and being able to borrow every single ounce of props needed.
You can also transform a coin into a dice or vice versa. It is incredibly amazing to see a coin and then one second later, it being a COMPLETELY different object, it's a very special sight for you and your spectators.
The revolution video is very clear, Brad Christian goes over every aspect of Revolution in detail to the point that you will be performing in fifteen minutes, it's that easy. The video itself is 30 minutes long but that is truly all you need. Brad delves into this vanish like you wouldn't believe, he nit picks everything so that you can perfect this and mold it into your own.
There are so many possibilities to presentation ideas for Revolution. From explaining about physics, science and chemistry, to challenging a buff and burly spectator to try and squeeze the coin out of existence. Revolution is a trick/effect that connects with your spectators on an emotional level, I do not know why, but this trick creates feelings within them that have them leaving in awe and wonder and remembering the performance that they saw.
There are some angle restrictions, but nothing too restraining so that you cant perform it in any situation.
I would recommend this trick/effect to ANY beginner, close up performer, street magician, hobbiest, or any magician in general, Revolution will be a great addition to your repetoire and arsenal.

I don't even know where to start. This coin vanish breaks down barriers of sleight of hand. You start clean, and end clean. It's absolutely impromptu, and the great factor is you can vanish any small object, not just coins. I've performed this on the spot hundreds of times, and performed even more in routines. When, I saw the trailer, I stared at it in amazement. Well guess what, I've done it hundreds of times, and I still amaze myself, because it is a true vanish. It is truly gone.
Effect: Amazing, true vanish of any borrowed object. Thats right, throw your little passes and french drops out the window. This is in your face magic, that will blow the worst heckler away. 9.5/10
DVD/Teaching: One of the amazing teachers, and creator, of Team E, Brad Christian goes over every apsect of this hard hitting illusion. He shares his thoughts on this sleight, and emphasizes every important part. It gets right to the point...so worth it. 10/10

I am writing a review about Revolution: Coin Vanish. It is created by Kevin Parker. This is a mind-blowing coin vanish that will shatter anyone's brain. Here is the effect:
Revolution: Coin Vanish
A sleeveless, easy coin vanish that takes about two minutes of your time but shatters the brains of your spectators. This effect has shattered the conventional sleight of hand and you will be kicking yourself for not thinking of this. It is so simple and easy.
Effect #1-The dissolve: You ask for a quarter or take on out of your pocket. You casually flip it and show your hands. You place your hand down by your waist and set the quarter on your hand. You use your other hand and take the quarter from your hand and start to rub the quarter away from your hands and show your hands empty. The one I use most often and is a great vanish and finisher.
Effect #2-The melt: You take the quarter again from your pocket and place it on your hand in a fist. In a brush motion on your hand you start to dissolve the coin away. You go over to the spectator and you turn you hand over slowly. You proceed to open your hand slowly and inside your palm is the quarter! This is a great finisher as well because you end with giving the spectators quarter back.
Effect #3-The Switch: You take your quarter again from your pocket and put your quarter on the back of your hand. You take the quarter in the same movement and start to lift up over the quarter. No longer is it there a quarter there but a die. Then you can take that die and proceed to dissolve that die right away into thin air. This is a great starter because you can turn your quarter into a die and then proceed to go into some die magic. Great stuff.
How Long: This DVD is about 30 minutes of training. You probably would think that that is a little short for a great effect. NO WAY. Brad misses nothing in this DVD and will answer all your questions. The DVD has tips, and at the beginning, if you haven't seen the preview, then you will get to see why this is one of the closest things to real magic. You may be skeptical at first thinking that anyone that has a brain will know where this went. They won't! I can promise that. 30 minutes of solid training for this DVD will get you all set to perform this in about a couple days of solid practice. It is that easy. If you are worried about how long the DVD is, DON'T. It is plenty long and you shall soon see when you buy Revolution: Coin Vanish!
The DVD in itself: This DVD is amazing. It is beautiful picture and has all angles perfectly down. You can see Brad at all times and know what he is doing when he teaches it. No more rewinding the tape because Brad teaches everything in detail and leaves nothing untouched. You will shut off your DVD player happy that you made this purchase because of the DVD itself.
Angles: You will have no problem with these angles. They are great and no one will ever know that you are doing your move. The person would have to be right on top of you to know what is going on. You will be very pleased with the angles because they are perfect for just about anywhere, and a bunch of people. Not too much to worry about.
The Teaching: Again, I cannot stress this enough. The teaching is phenomanal. Brad leaves nothing untouched and you will love what you have just purchased. You will never wonder what happens if this happens or that happens because he will tell you everything you need to know.
How Impromptu: This trick is one of the best coin vanishes that requires no gimmicks. It involves nothing like magnets or loops. No sleeving either. You just pick up the coin and dissolve the coin. As simple as that. No false movements or people wondering if it went up your sleeve for one main reason. YOU HAVE NO SLEEVES! One of the greatest convincers in coin magic is that you have no sleeves for the reason that not one person will be expecting it to go up there. Many people go and ask to look up your sleeves if you have them. In this effect they can. It is a great way to vanish it and I guarantee that you will be using this long after you get it.
The sleight itself: It is so easy that you will be kicking yourself. I am totally serious. It is one of the easiest sleights I have ever used. No one will ever catch you and it is simply brilliant. You will totally love this and use it for any kind of vanish. It does take some practice to get down the smoothness, but will take you no longer than an hour to get the point or fluency with the move. You will love this.
DVD quality: This is an amazing quality for a DVD. The picture is crystal clear and you know what is going on at all times. Some DVD's are hard to see because of the quality and how they don't fit to your TV. Well, this is different. This DVD will not leave you disappointed.
Camera Angles: These angles are perfect for what you are trying to do. It focuses in on what he is doing and leaves you with awe on how simple it is. The camera focuses right on the important part that he is explaining and focuses out when he is trying to tell you something. The angles are great and again, will not leave you disappointed. Great job Ellusionist!
Where you can perform this: There are endless possibilities to where you can perform this. This effect is perfect for the streets or in a bar. In a bar setting you just jump off your stool, ask for a quarter and make it disappear. That simple. The streets are even easier because you are already standing. There are limitless possibilities to where you can perform this effect. Parties are also great. Maybe even for kid's shows. Have fun with thinking of a place to perform it. Make it one you love to do.
Set-up: You will totally be blown by the set-up. It takes about 2 seconds of your time, IF YOU ARE SLOW. This set-up is a cinch. At that moment that you get your quarter you are already set-up. You will love this set-up and have no trouble with it at all!
Ending: This ending is so clean that you no longer have the coin. You will love this effect. It is so clean that no one will have any idea of where it went. This will not leave you wondering if you should get this.
My Opinion: You are crazy for not picking up this DVD. If you are into sleeveless, coin vanishes that end clean then this is for you. This creator has brought out the best of coin vanishes and you will fall in love with this as fast as I did. If you are on the line about this, GET IT! You will love it!
My performance: I have performed this more than once and love it. I once performed this for my mom. I nailed the effect and BAM! It happened. The impossible just happened. The coin was gone. She was stunned. You could see it in her face. Speechless. You will get this reaction over and over again. This is a mind-boggler and you will have a blast doing this effect.
